The Catch-Up Mixtape, Vol. 6

As this is my final Catch-Up Mixtape release, I felt it warranted more than just a couple of lines and a download link at the bottom of the last post. So, I’m giving it a final hurrah because it truly is the last one. As I mentioned a few weeks back, the Catch-Up will be a thing of the past as the new version of this journey will not be as strict as the last. If there’s a new album by an artist I really want to hear, I’ll just listen to it when I get it. I’m going to put that to the test pretty soon as a lot of cool stuff is coming out in the next few months.

But now we celebrate the release of ‘These Things I Have Heard Catch-Up, Vol. 6,’ available for download now in two zip files [Part 1 | Part 2] because free file hosting comes with limits. These 32 songs from nearly 40 albums symbolize the future of this project and how these mixes can become more than just a mere novelty to traipse through when bored; they are going to be a truly eclectic time capsule of music and when it entered my life. Should be fun.
